Smart City Event

Welcome to the international Smart City Event in Tampere. The event is organized as a part of the annual, international Mindtrek conference and will be continuing the discussions that started in the Smart City Seminar 2015 in Oulu.

The objective of the Smart City Event is to promote smart city development by inspiring keynote speakers, hands-on workshops and by sharing best practices and lessons learnt. Smart City Seminar in Oulu brought together 300 like-minded people interested in smarter cities and with the addition of Mindtrek conference we are expecting 1000 people to come together for the two days.

Smart City Event is focused on intelligent community development and smart market creation. Topics that will be discussed include smart city, future healthcare, digitalization, internet of things, open data, open innovation platforms, co-creation and open participation. Smart City Event and Mindtrek 2016 together give an unique perspective for the future and bring together people from all aspects of life to discuss these topics.
